Your Privacy Matters

Rock Paper Scissors: Expert ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Marshland Software LLC. We built the Rock Paper Scissors: Expert mobile application (the "App") to be simple, private, and fun to use. This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any data. The App runs entirely on your device. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no backend servers, and no network features of any kind:

  • Local App Data: Your match history, statistics, ladder progress, and settings are saved locally on your device only, using the operating system's standard app storage. This data is never transmitted anywhere.
  • No Advertising: The App contains no ads and no advertising SDKs. We do not collect or use your advertising identifier.
  • No Analytics or Tracking: The App contains no analytics, crash reporting, or third-party tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.

How We Use Your Data

Because your data never leaves your device, we do not use it for anything. The App reads your locally stored history solely to run the game on your device — for example, to show your record and to let the in-game opponent respond to your play.

In-App Purchases

The App offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks the rest of the ladder. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.

We never see or receive your payment details. We do not operate a server, so your purchase is confirmed by asking the App Store directly on your device whether the purchase belongs to your Apple Account. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal information from anyone, this is true of all users regardless of age.

Data Storage & Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate backend servers that store your personal data.

You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

Security

We do not transmit your app data anywhere, which reduces privacy risk by design. Your data is stored locally on your device, and its protection depends on your device security settings (such as a passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and keeping your operating system up to date).

Your Rights & Choices

  • Delete Your Data: Removing the App deletes all locally stored data.
  • Restore Your Purchase: You can restore a previous purchase at any time from the unlock screen inside the App.

California & International Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident or located in certain other regions, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access or delete your data.

Because Rock Paper Scissors: Expert does not collect personal data or store it on our servers, these rights are automatically fulfilled by design.

Third-Party Services

The App does not embed any third-party services, SDKs, or trackers. The only third party involved is Apple, which operates the App Store and processes in-app purchases.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
